Here are some of the other highlights:

  • CrossFire SLI will be available only on X370 motherboards
  • Every Ryzen chip can be overclocked
  • Overclocking is supported only on motherboards with X370, X300, and B350 chipsets
  • Motherboards will support plenty of the latest features including NVMe and DDR4 RAM

AMD has promised to provide the selling of these chipsets from 2nd March 2k17.And You’ll be able to buy the Ryzen based CPU’s from then onwards.(Although looking at the current buzz among computer geeks, the queue for these chipsets is going to be long!  SO BE FAST!)

AMD RYZEN is a new 8 core x86 architecture built on the 14nm FinFET manufacturing process.

The architecture of the Ryzen is similar to KABY LAKE and SKY LAKE architectures of the INTEL i7 4 core 8 core thread chipsets but with 8 core and 16 threads higher efficiency and 40% more IPC.

(And all of this comes for almost half the price!! SWEET!!)

The eight-core Ryzen is rumoured to consume 95 Watts.

Although the compatibility hasn’t been announced, compatible rumors have it that compatible with almost all AMD modules.
